Columbia families and the Family Court

Columbia family law cases are heard by the South Carolina Family Court for the Fifth Judicial Circuit, which covers Richland and Kershaw Counties and sits at the Richland County Judicial Center in downtown Columbia. Families on the Lexington County side of the river fall under the Eleventh Judicial Circuit's Family Court in Lexington. Our session reports are written in objective, non-editorial language, timestamped throughout the visit, and formatted so they can be filed with the court, delivered to your attorney, or shared with a guardian ad litem.

Visits happen in your community Court hearings happen at the Judicial Center downtown, but supervised visits don't have to. We schedule sessions at agreed-upon community locations across the Midlands — so the child stays in familiar surroundings.

Pricing

Same flat rate across the Midlands: $150 one-time intake, $65/hour for sessions, $10 per session report (first two per month free). Two-hour minimum. No mileage. No monthly fees.
